Mission
TXPALC is an independent, non-profit organization with no political affiliations, which aims to empower Texas-Portuguese and Portuguese-American citizens through advocacy, civic engagement, community development, and education.
TXPALC’s mission is to document and preserve Portuguese culture and customs through the celebration and dissemination of Portugal's heritage in the U.S. The organization also strives to encourage networking in the community through a continuous system of engagement: we create opportunities to keep our heritage alive and maintain our vibrant traditions, enhance community and cultural self-confidence, support social transformation, and empower the community.
About Us
Through an inclusive network of partners, volunteers, and community members, TXPALC intends to strengthen the connection with our local governments, schools, trade commissioners, and diplomatic corps. We are creating programs that aim to educate and preserve the Portuguese culture in Texas.
