About Us
"Congregations caring about people and working for change through programs and efforts that respond to, serve, advocate for and empower people with unmet needs." CHUM is a coalition of 35 member congregations that together operate programs that respond to basic needs (i.e., food shelves, emergency shelters, street case management, nurses' clinic, etc.) of the lowest income and most marginalized members of the Duluth community. It also seeks to mobilize constituent populations including those served by CHUM's programs and congregational members in the work of social and economic justice.
