At the Wildlife Clinic, our goal is to provide professional care to sick, injured, and orphaned native wildlife so healthy animals can be returned to their natural habitat.
Our clinic objectives:
- Conduct medical treatment and daily care of injured, orphaned, sick, and distressed wildlife.
- Maintain the highest quality of care in accordance with the National Wildlife Rehabilitators Association (NWRA) Minimum Standards for Wildlife Rehabilitation.
- Provide the dignity of humane euthanasia to those animals which cannot be successfully returned to the wild.
- Promote the philosophy of coexistence with native wildlife through public education and outreach programs.
- Provide an information and referral service for wildlife and conservation issues.
- Network effectively with allied organizations and agencies.
- Contribute to the body of knowledge of treatment and captive care of wildlife species.
