    Peace Neighborhood Center' mission is to provide programs for children, families, and individuals who are affected by social and economic problems. Peace helps people discover options, enhance skills, and make choices that lead to self-sufficiency and positive community involvement.

    About Us

    Peace Neighborhood Center is a nonprofit 501(c)3 corporation started in 1971 out of the concerns and hopes of the residents of Ann Arbor's West Side. Initially, Peace was a neutral meeting place for neighbors from diverse backgrounds to resolve their mutual concerns. Over time, the mission of Peace Neighborhood Center has expanded to in order to meet the challenges of integrating communities, combating drugs and violence, and addressing educational and economic equalities.
