ESS Community Projects @ Eckford Street Studio

ESS Community Projects (ESScp) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with the mission of providing high quality educational programming in the Visual Arts to the residents of North Brooklyn, regardless of income or experience. ESScp facilitates onsite art programming at Brooklyn public schools and offers tots classes, after school classes, school break workshops, and summer programs, as well as adult classes, at our Greenpoint studio. Our Teaching Artists are practicing artists and master educators, with years of experience facilitating open-ended art investigations that bring together art history, hands-on skill building and problem solving, and the students' own life experiences. ESScp is committed to nurturing the creative and intellectual development of children through exposure to works of art and spirited art making.
