New College of the Humanities
New College of the Humanities (NCH) is a world-class university-level college in the heart of London. The College combines a unique liberal arts curriculum with highly personalised teaching in an international community. At NCH our Undergraduates choose a combined honours degree comprising a ‘major’ subject and a complementary ‘minor’ subject from any or the courses we offer, in any format the student chooses. For example: Economics with History, Politics & International Relations with Philosophy, English with Art History – the choice is yours!
Our postgraduate students benefit from a range of MA progrmmes that foster advanced skills in critical questioning, information gathering, synthesis and analysis, and oral and written communication. At NCH, treating you as an individual is central to our ethos; we are committed to helping you achieve your academic, personal and professional potential.
At New College of the Humanities, students benefit from one of the best staff-to-student ratios in the UK higher education. The teaching at NCH is delivered by highly experienced and enthusiastic academics through one-to-one tutorials, small group seminars and interactive lectures, and our smaller class sizes allow everyone the chance to participate and thrive.
Add to that our Central London location (we are just steps away from ‘The British Museum’, Bloomsbury, Tottenham Court Road and Oxford Street), and you can see why NCH offers something that little bit different to other institutions for higher learning.
