Lifestart Foundation is a non-profit organisation registered in Victoria, Australia. Founded by Karen Leonard, it has been created to help those living in disadvantaged situations in Vietnam to become self-sufficient.
Lifestart Foundation is currently helping street kids into apprenticeship programs, sponsoring entire families through the Support a Family program, providing opportunities to allow children to complete their education and working with those with disabilities to help provide a sustainable income. All recipients of aid are personally interviewed and assessed by Karen.
The long term goal of the Lifestart Foundation is to set up proven working programmes within a small community to effect a generational change.
