Camp Fire Samish connects young people to the outdoors, to others, and to themselves.

Camp Fire Samish owns and operates Camp Kirby, a traditional youth summer camp located on Samish Island in Bow, Washington. We serve over 2,000 young people across Northwest Washington each year, and have been operating for over 100 years.

All of our programs are outdoor-based and technology-free. They are designed to enhance youth well-being, build confidence, and develop leadership skills. Growing up is hard, and young people today battle with increasing loneliness, isolation, anxiety, and depression. At Camp Fire Samish & Camp Kirby, we believe in the power of connection and belonging as a way to increase hope, well-being, and resilience in young people.
