  • Mission

    The purpose of this organization is to train community volunteers to serve as Court appointed advocates for children who are abused or neglected, and to speak up for these children through the state foster care system and the Circuit Courts of Marion County. It shall further be the purpose of this organization to educate the community regarding its responsibility for children who are involved in the court process, and to initiate programs to prevent child abuse, child neglect and juvenile delinquency.

    About Us

    CASA of Marion County is a non-profit organization which is comprised of two staff members and numerous volunteers. The volunteeers receive extensive training after an application and interview process which includes thorough background checks. It is expected that the volunteers will handle one caseat a time, and work approximately 10-15 hours per month with a minimal commitment of one year.
