CLWC’s mission is “to protect, preserve and steward our finite land and natural resources of Southeastern Massachusetts – we are losing them fast.” CLWC is a grassroots network of groups and individuals and an organization that provides technical, scientific and legal assistance to communities and individuals.
We are a diverse grassroots network of groups and individuals from across the region. We aim to educate the public about how to get involved to make a difference on the state and local level to protect our drinking water and communities. We advocate for accountability and transparency at the local level in order to ensure full public participation and land use and regulatory decisions that benefit all people.
Protecting our land and water means fighting for clean water, healthy ecosystems and forests for residents and visitors alike. Southeastern Massachusetts is home to amazing, globally diverse forests, wetlands, streams, rivers and ponds that are threatened by reckless development and sand and gravel mining.
