The Youth Empowerment Network, NFP is a non-profit organization focused on empowering youth and young adults. We collaborate with young people to address challenges and reach their full potential through a supportive and inclusive environment.

J & P National Youth Empowerment Network, NFP is a minority-led, community-based nonprofit committed to empowering underserved youth and young adults in the Southland and Chicago communities, including Dolton, Markham, South Holland, Riverdale, Calumet City, Posen, and Chicago residents from Roseland and Pullman. Founded in 2023, our organization provides programs that foster workforce readiness, leadership development, entrepreneurship skills, life skills, and mental health support.

We serve youth ages 11–17 who face systemic barriers such as poverty, exposure to violence, and limited access to education and employment opportunities. Our programs are designed with a trauma-informed approach, creating safe spaces for healing, expression, and personal growth. Participants benefit from mentoring, youth-led community engagement initiatives, educational workshops, and civic involvement, including quarterly townhall meetings where youth educate their communities on critical issues.

At J&P NYEN, our core values include equity, empowerment, community engagement, and resilience. We prioritize youth voices, encourage intergenerational learning through partnerships with returning citizens via Bridge to Freedom, and actively involve families and community partners in programming. By combining mentorship, skill-building, and community education, we strive to create long-term impact, equipping youth with the tools, confidence, and support necessary to thrive academically, socially, and professionally while fostering stronger, safer, and more connected communities.
