Sondheim Scholars have the opportunity to learn about American and world societies, develop a deep understanding of public policy, and acquire skills for becoming effective public leaders, while majoring in the social sciences at UMBC. Students are nurtured through peer connections and receive generous academic scholarships often covering the greater part of the cost of attending UMBC.
