About Us

The Silver Spring Presbyterian Church Children’s Center (SSPC CC) exists for the purpose of providing high quality early childhood services to the Silver Spring area of Montgomery County.

SSPC CC was established in 1975 as a service to families in the community. The Center is sponsored by the Silver Spring Presbyterian Church. The school offers quality early care and education programs in a warm and caring environment.

SSPC CC provides comprehensive early childhood services. Programs includes our ITT Unit which provides child care for infants and toddlers, and a transition class for two’s and young three’s AND our Preschool Unit which includes combined Maryland State Department of Education approved nursery school/Montgomery County Community-based Head Start classes (including wrap-around services) for preschoolers. Some of these services are provided in partnership with Montgomery County Health and Human Services and Montgomery County Public Schools. Meal service is also provided to all age groups.
