Shoreline Soup Kitchens & Pantries

About Us

Founded in 1989, the mission of Shoreline Soup Kitchens & Pantries is to provide food and fellowship to those in need and educate our communities about hunger and poverty. Our service area includes 11 towns along the CT Shoreline from Madison to East Lyme. We maintain a small paid staff and rely on the efforts of hundreds of community volunteers to make our mission come alive. Our five pantries and eight meal sites are located in communities of faith and our culture and philosophy are rooted in a history of interfaith partnerships. We welcome people of diverse backgrounds, beliefs, abilities, races, ethnicity and sexual orientation in all aspect of our efforts.  Visit our website at www.shorelinesoupkitchens.org.
