Greetings

As the name sounds, we are not a grant making organization. We do strongly believe that the fund of creativity, energy, spiritual strengths and enthusiasm people contribute towards their development, which we consider as important as financial inputs. So the name stands with this belief.

We are in existence since 1985 with the disadvantaged section of the communities through activities ranging from organizing grass root level women's groups to building a resource center for women's groups and NGOs and forming a network of women's organizations. At present there are 156 women's organizations in our network.

Even though all the groups have a common concern as 'women empowerment', area of interest and focus varies according to the regional socio-economic and cultural differences. Hence the need too differs from finance to capacity building. We do support them in all spheres of their requirements through putting them in touch with the right agency/groups who could provide them the required support, except for training which we ourselves organize.

At present we are in the process of looking out for financial assistance for our educational and children's creative activities and we have approached you with this intention.

We would like to know how you could co-operate with us towards fulfilling the above-mentioned mission of our organization. Whether this would match with your program focus and criteria or not. If not which way you think that you could be of help to us? We are aware that each organization has its own priority areas and we wish to know about your institution.
