Virginia State Park Youth Corps

  • About Us

The YCC programs offer adolescents the opportunity to work in a park and forest environment, completing projects that may include trail and campground maintenance, campground construction, building fences, planting trees, noxious weed removal and improving fish habitat. These projects benefit public lands and the community. Through their involvement in YCC, participants receive a valuable education in natural resources, public land management and establishing communal goodwill.
