Mentors and Tutors Needed for Youth Program

The Empower Community Center for Youth and Adults was established to empower youth academically, personally, and socially. Our flagship program, “Putting Your Best Foot Forward” is a Mentorship Program for youth ages 8-17yrs old. Having a mentor can be an important factor in the quality of a young person’s life and in their social and academic development.

We are in need of adult mentors who can meet the following criteria:

• Have a willingness to work with our youth • Have a passion for helping others • Are at least 18 years of age or old • Can pass a background check • Are able to meet once bi-weekly with your mentee for 1-2 hrs.

We have a plenty of fun, educational, and inspirational events lined up for mentors and mentees. If you have the time to help a kid, please forward a copy of your resume to: empowertheyouwithin@gmail.com
