About Us
At the tender age of 17, Markaylah Tyrice Jackson, lovingly known as "Kay", was in a tragic hit and run car accident in June 2016 on Roosevelt Blvd in Philadelphia, PA that led to her death. Markaylah was expected to graduate high school the day after the tragedy occurred and was unable to live her future dreams of becoming a nurse. She was a very ambitious girl full of life, personality, and a smile that could light up a room with a very loving family who supported her every step of the way.
The death of Markaylah was the motivation behind starting L.I.V.E (Leading & Inspiring Visions Everyday) FOR KAY,geared towards helping what society labels as *at risk girls*. Unfortunately, there are many young girls who are unable to live out their dreams and aspirations or even look towards the future. One unfortunate reason is due to the lack of love and support in their lives. One of the main goals of LFK is to keep Markaylah's memory alive and embody the same principles of love, care, and support that she provided to those who she came across in her everyday life.
