    Located in Portland, MIRC serves 51 member organizations statewide that include diverse immigrant communities and allied groups committed to improving the lives of immigrants in Maine. Founded in 2005, MIRC has played a leading role in advocacy for immigrants’ rights in Maine. The mission of MIRC is to improve the legal, social and economic conditions experienced by Maine’s immigrants – enhancing their lives and strengthening Maine – through advocacy, information sharing, and fostering collaboration among member organizations.
