About Us

Founded in 1973, AACI is one of the largest community-based organizations advocating for and serving the marginalized and vulnerable ethnic communities in Santa Clara County. Our mission is to strengthen the hope and resilience of all our community members by improving their health, mental health and well-being.

Our many programs address the health and well-being of the individual and advances our belief in providing care that goes beyond just health, but also provides people a sense of hope and new possibilities

As a multi-service agency, AACI's diverse services include mental health and primary care health services, health education, HIV/AIDS prevention and testing, substance abuse treatment, a center for survivors of torture, programs and shelter for women and children who are domestic violence victims, a senior center, after-school youth programs, and community advocacy. AACI has served over 18,000 community members in over 40 different languages. AACI's focus goes beyond the Asian community to all community members in need. The majority of AACI clients are low-income individuals and families living in the Santa Clara County.
