  • About Us

The Bootstrap Project is a non-profit social enterprise empowering individuals to overcome poverty and revitalize heritage craft traditions. Based in New York City, The Bootstrap Project partners with nonprofits and artisans across the globe to provide vital resources and fair income to individuals by selling their crafts and sharing their stories.

By connecting artisans with leading designers and fashion retailers, The Bootstrap Project produces unique, handcrafted products that are both high design and high impact.
