  • Mission

The central mission of JHF is to equip locally-engaged youth with the business expertise, real-world leadership experience, and collaborative network they need to eliminate hunger and poverty in their communities.

    About Us

JHF is a youth-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit that trains and empowers youth to address global issues, such as hunger and poverty, themselves.

In 2005, JHF was founded on then-4-year-old Joshua Williams’ belief that no one is too young to make a difference. After 20 years of addressing food insecurity, we are using our grassroots hunger relief initiatives as training grounds for the next generation of global leaders & changemakers.

That means that the kids run the show. From applying for grants to handing out food, our youth leaders have a hand in every aspect of our work.
