Family Promise Chicago North Shore

Family Promise Chicago North Shore (www.fpcnorthshore.org ) is a network of community organizations, congregations and social service agencies dedicated to helping families regain permanent housing. Our goal is to quickly return families in homeless situations to stable housing while providing emergency shelter, meals, and hospitality. The network enables families to remain together as a unit while their children continue their education, often in the same school as before the family faced a homeless situation. There are 160+ of these networks around the country affiliated with a national organization, Family Promise (www.familypromise.org).
