About Us

Mission Statement:

The Guadalupe River Park Conservancy provides community leadership for the development and active use of the Guadalupe River Park & Gardens through education, advocacy, and stewardship.

Description:

We are a community advocacy group for the Guadalupe River Park & Gardens dedicated to the completion of the River Park and Gardens as well as maintaining the park and providing educational opportunities.

Recurring Volunteer Opportunities:

·  River clean-ups

·  Heritage Rose Garden & Historic Orchard maintenance

·  Native restoration and trail-side projects

·  Office work

Other Volunteer Opportunities:

·  One-time events such as

     o   Pumpkins in the Park festival in October as well as

     o   5k and 10k race events.  

·  Long-term opportunities for internships with our on-going education programs.
