Female Strong

Female Strong ® is a 501c3 non-profit organization and community of committed individuals that offer hands-on programs, mentorship, and experiences that build confidence in middle and high school girls and gender-expansive youth. By empowering young women with the skills they need early in life, we help them realize their potential and preempt the inequities that exist for women in the workplace today.

Female Strong is a Chicago-based nonprofit that empowers girls and gender-expansive youth ages 8–18 through hands-on programs, mentorship, and leadership experiences. Since 2014, we have helped young women build confidence, develop entrepreneurial and leadership skills, and explore future career pathways.

Our programs, including the Young Entrepreneurs Academy and Female Strong Camp, create supportive spaces where participants can take risks, discover their strengths, and connect with inspiring role models and mentors. We believe every girl deserves the opportunity to realize her potential and become part of the next generation of female leaders.
