The Church is God’s chosen instrument to bring hope to the
poor and oppressed. The Medical Benevolence Foundation (MBF), with the
Presbyterian Church, partners with local churches in developing countries to
build sustainable health care ministries. The poor suffer worse health and die
younger. Ill health can trap an entire household and even community into a
downward spiral of poverty. At MBF, we
believe the local church is uniquely qualified to assess the true needs of the
community and has the exceptional ability to reach those who need care. By
building these healing ministries, we are demonstrating the Gospel of Jesus
Christ.
