Community Schools Collaboration - Mount View Elementary Site

The aim of our work is to provide students with the necessary supports and opportunities to graduate from high school and become engaged, responsible citizens and provide families the information and assistance needed to help their children succeed academically. To achieve this, we work in tandem with our partners to provide the infrastructure and coordinate services that focus on the needs and assets of our communities, our students and their families. The partnership between the City and the School District makes our model unique. Over the years, each institution has increased its commitment and contributions to the initiative. In addition, the strategy of building community support through collaborations and partnerships has created more opportunities for students and families while decreasing CSC’s reliance on expensive direct service projects.
