    It is the primary goal of the Toys for Tots Foundation - as well as the overall Toys for Tots Program - to deliver, through a new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to less fortunate youngsters that will assist them into becoming responsible, productive, patriotic citizens.

    About Us

    Started in 1947 by Marine Corps Reserve Major Bill Hendricks. His wife, Diane, crafted a few dolls and asked Bill to deliver to an agency that supports children in need. When he couldn't find one she said "start one"! That year they collected and distributed over 5,000 toys in Los Angeles. Today there are over 800 campaigns nationwide. DuPage County collected 51,588 toys and distributed them to 27,471 children in 2018.
