  • About Us

1,000 Days promotes greater action and investment in maternal and young child nutrition, especially during the critical window of opportunity between a woman’s pregnancy and her child’s 2nd birthday, when the right nutrition has a life-changing impact on a child’s ability to grow, learn and rise out of poverty. 1,000 Days mobilizes advocates, thought-leaders, policymakers and its network of over 80 partners to improve nutrition for women and children around the world because we believe that every child – regardless of where they are born – deserves the strongest start to life and the opportunity to develop to their full potential.
