MY Foundation: Street Smarts to Great Starts Corp., is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was founded in 2017.

Mission: To educate, train, and employ high school teens ages 14 to 18, with life skills to achieve the success needed to become self-sufficient

Vision: With hard work and determination, teenagers will receive a quality education to create the career paths they desire.

Communities Served: Englewood, Auburn Gresham, Roseland, Bronzeville, Washington Park, Chatham, and Evergreen Park

Program(s) Offered: (*Programming runs March-November of each year

-The My College Going Self Project-Assisting high school students with the transition from high school to higher education. Services: college choice, college application completion, personal essay, homework help, and assistance with college applications fees, and transportation. *on-going support while in college

-Rehab 360-Assisting high school students with entry into the construction trades industry through educational workshops, and guest speakers who work in the construction industry. Services: Hands-on skills, group projects, presentations, and application support to apply for apprenticeships. *Certificate of completion awarded after completing workshops.
