VISION: Focus on the Kingdom of GodWe see a large, multi-ethnic community of faith that LOVES GOD and WORSHIPS HIM passionately. We see a Regional Church with a Kingdom Focus to be an Acts 1:8 people to our local community and beyond. As a Regional church, we will be a hub of training, planting and growing, people, churches and communities in and around the greater West Contra Costa area. Rock Harbor will be a 21st century church built on God's Word and empowered and driven by His Spirit.

Evangelism: We were made for a mission ~ Go and make disciples of all nations.

THE BIBLE:

• We believe the Bible is our primary tool in leading people to understand who God is and to bring about personal life transformation.
• We will endeavor to faithfully preach and teach its eternal, life-transformation truths through our worship services and small groups.
• We will use the Bible to constantly affirm God’s direction for our lives and our church as we navigate through all of life’s challenges, and all of the cultural changes which we will face.

PEOPLE ARE VALUED:

• We will be intentionally evangelistic, sharing the love of God as it is presented through the gospel of Christ.
• We will strive to equip our members to become Great Commission New Testament Christians who are confident in sharing the Good News of the Gospel and boldly sharing their faith in Jesus Christ.
• We will foster opportunities for people to meet Christ through various ministry opportunities and developing relationships with other transformed members through our Intentional Life Development Discipleship studies and small groups.

WHAT WE NEED TO ACCOMPLISH GOD'S PLAN:

• PRAYER: Those who are willing to seek the face of the Lord through prayer. Without our church being filled with the presence of God and set apart as a house of prayer,and filled with those whose desire is to pray without ceasing, we can do NOTHING.
• COMMITMENT: Those who share our Beliefs, join our Purpose and are compelled to partake in fulfilling the Mission God has given this Body of His Believers.
• PARTICIPATION: Those who agree it takes a BODY to fulfill the plans of God realize each "part" (person) is vitally important to the success of the whole and are willing to share in this work by serving, supporting others, and inviting others to join in service. The church's momentum is created by the momentum and passion of its members.
• INVESTMENT: Those who are willing to give of their TIME, TALENT, AND TREASURE as their active and consistent contribution to the ministry of Rock Harbor and the Kingdom of God.
