Ignition Community Glass

Ignition Community Glass (ICG) was founded in 2014 with a mission to provide transformative glass art learning experiences to youth from underserved communities. We provide a safe environment for students to experiment, incubate ideas, and explore the arts, which fosters self-confidence, problem-solving, and opportunities for students to express their emotions creatively through glass and collaborative group activities. The synergy of the components unique to the making of glass art - collaboration, resilience, trust, discipline, and focus - ties directly into the critical social-emotional learning necessary for youth to thrive.

Our vision is to bring equity, potential, creativity, and hope through the arts to positively impact the lives of our next generation. We center all our work on these core values:
