Play Rugby USA

Play Rugby’s philosophy is to ‘develop youth through rugby’. The organization provides a fun, unique and inspirational educational experience through the innovative coaching of non-contact rugby and delivery of curriculum-based academic, fitness, nutritional and cultural enrichment programs. Our youth development program - Play Rugby USA® encompasses coaching services to schools, professional development training for teachers, and ongoing support through a comprehensive curriculum and mentoring system and online network enabling schools, coaches and volunteers to effectively deliver the benefits of our programs. For many children Play Rugby USA® gives them their first opportunity to become part of a team, learn about international cultures and develop a sense of camaraderie and sportsmanship that is unique to the game of rugby. Additionally the organization is partnering with leading youth organizations to establish Sports Leadership Academies to provide character development, fitness and nutrition, community development and academic enrichment to their after school programs.
