Communities for a Better Environment

Communities for a Better Environment (CBE) is a community-based environmental health and justice organization that has worked for over twenty years to enable communities directly impacted by pollution to control the decisions that affect their quality of life and health. CBE's strategy of community organizing supported by legal and scientific research and advocacy helps communities improve their everyday lives and health. CBE has two offices, one in Oakland, CA and the other in Los Angeles, CA.
