The Illinois Chapter of the Sierra Club is a statewide
organization representing over 25,000 individuals
committed to protecting the Illinois environment.
Members participate in:
OUTINGS, hikes, and restoration projects;
COMMITTEES to protect Illinois' lakes & rivers,
forests & open spaces, watersheds & native habitat;
ELECTING pro-environment candidates to public
office;
COMMUNICATING with legislators and other public
officials;
MEETINGS, seminars and other special events; and
SOCIALIZING with others who share their
environmental interests.
