    Creative Arts Workshop (CAW) is considered one of the anchors of the New Haven’s arts community and throughout its 56 year history has been a regional center for visual arts education for adults and children alike. It is the largest community arts school in the state of Connecticut. More than 2,000 students enroll annually in the 300+ courses offered by CAW.  Governed by a Board of Directors, the organization employs a small staff and 55 teaching faculty and has a budget of approximately $750,000. Visitors enjoy exhibitions in the Hilles and the Creative Works galleries throughout the year.
