About Us

Brock University's Faculty of Education trains students to be leaders in non-profit, higher education, private schools and community settings that require those with skills in administration, teaching and training. With the transferrable skills learned in a Master of Education degree you are ready to work in a variety of settings. (In other words, education is not just for teachers anymore!) We have three pathways (Research, Course-based and Internationally-educated) and three specializations (Administration and Leadership in Education, Teaching, Learning and Development, and Social and Cultural Contexts in Education.

We also have a program called the Masters Preparation Certificate in Education (MPCE), a post-graduate certificate program that is 1 academic year (two terms) in length and helps students apply to subsequent graduate programs.

In MPCE we worked with all students to best match their academic background with their career goals. Of the last MPCE graduating class (April 2020) 94% gained admission to the program of their choice.
