Umoja Music School

Umoja Music School, Ltd. is a Tanzanian and U.S. registered non-profit organization (called Umoja Arts Project in the States) that aims to provide educational opportunities (i.e. classes, workshops, individual lessons) in music to people of all ages and backgrounds living in Arusha, Tanzania and the surrounding areas. Umoja Music School is guided by the philosophy that the arts can be used as a vehicle for education and empowerment of people and to transcend cultural and social barriers in any setting.
