Bambelela Wildlife Care Farm
Bambelela Wildlife Care Farm handraises orphaned and injured wild mammals such as antelopes, zebras, predators, Owls, Mongooses, Vervet Monkeys etc. We care for the animals with the aim to release them back to a wild life in Nature. We are self-funding and a non-profit organisation and appreciate Volunteers helping us with the daily tasks of caring for African wild animals.
Bambelela Wildlife Care & Guest Farm's Volunteer Programme is enteres to with the following conditions.
COSTS: 160,--EURO/1250,--Rand/190,--US$/120,--British Pound per WEEK.
Volunteers can stay as from 2 weeks to 3 months and be in the age of 18 - 50 years old.

Duties: 24h stand-by typical work day: Monday-Sunday -16h00 [winter: 8h00-17h00]. Brunch 10h00-10h30. Lunch break 1h, Dinner 18h00 caring for sick and orphaned animals cleaning of camps and cages [three times a week] animal sitting and watching keeping care list, written report, time of medication helping and assisting in Rehab-Programme feeding of animals helping with general work of the employees assisting the Manager and assisting Manager with small maintenance work [example: fixing of fences, etc.]
