About Us

The mission of DC Net Impact (DCNI) Professional Chapter is to inspire, educate, and equip the National Capital Area community and beyond to use the power of business to create a more socially and environmentally sustainable world. We provide quality programs, timely resources, an active network, and relevant professional development opportunities to our members engaged in improving the world. We aim to facilitate leadership in corporate social responsibility, social entrepreneurship, nonprofit management, international development, green business management, environmental sustainability, and other related fields.

Net Impact, our parent organization, is an international nonprofit organization whose mission is to make a positive impact on society by growing and strengthening a community of new leaders who use business to improve the world. Net Impact offers a portfolio of programs to educate, equip, and inspire more than 10,000 members to make a tangible difference in their universities, organizations, and communities. Spanning six continents, its membership makes up one of the most influential networks of MBAs, graduate students, and professionals in existence today. Net Impact members are current and emerging leaders in CSR, social entrepreneurship, nonprofit management, international development, and environmental sustainability who are actively improving the world.
