  • Mission

The Brain Injury Association of Rhode Island is dedicated to increasing awareness of brain injury and its consequences, providing education to prevent brain injury, and enhancing the quality of life for those affected by brain injury.

    About Us

The Brain Injury Association of Rhode Island works to expand services in the state for the care and rehabilitation of individuals who have sustained brain injuries by increasing the public's awareness of brain injury and its consequences, developing support systems and by providing educational outreach and training to organizations, agencies and community groups.

BIARI operates a Resource Center to improve access to information on brain injury, provides training, offers support groups for survivors and caregivers, participates in health fairs and community projects, and offers a statewide annual education conference in March, which is brain injury awareness month.
