    The Pittsburgh Japanese Culture Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that advocates cultural diversity and acceptance in a safe, educational environment through promotion of international performing and cultural relevant visual art exhibitions.

    About Us

    The Pittsburgh Japanese Culture Society (PittJCS) is a completely volunteer organization that hosts a myriad of cultural events throughout the city. Our signature event is Tekko, a Japanese Pop Culture event, which expects nearly 10,000 attendees. Other events we host include The KuroKiiro Festival,- an all ages Educational Event, the Sangawa Project, and Kennywood Asian Heritage Day.
