Seattle Mennonite Church

Seattle Mennonite Church is an active Anabaptist Mennonite Christian congregation working at following Jesus faithfully in our urban context. As disciples of Jesus, we believe faith and action are inseparable elements in each person’s spiritual journey. We are often welcoming new friends, and we aim to live out our calling to offer radical hospitality, whether for a morning or over the course of years. At SMC, we gather regularly for worship, together discern God’s invitations to us, and seek to follow Christ in building a just peace in our community and in the world.

Our home is in the Lake City neighborhood, in a building that many still remember as the Lake City Theater. Our buildings have become places where we worship and fellowship, where folks find shelter, and where many community members and organizations work, play, and serve in a variety of ways.
