About Us

We are a Los Angeles-based, 501 (c) (3) nonprofit founded in 2007 and incorporated in 2009. MVAT's mission is to raise the awareness of, and funds for, charities that support American wounded warriors, military veterans, and their families.

We aspire to become a premier organization that shows what the human spirit can do and to provide assistance where other resources for veterans and their families fall short.

Since 2007, we have disbursed more than $1.2 million in grants to deserving charities including K9s for Warriors, The Pathway Home, Snowball Express, Coming Home Project, and Habitat for Heroes (a project of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles).

To discuss this volunteer opportunity and help make a difference in the lives of America's heroes who have sacrficed so much, please contact MVAT Executive Director James Colbert - jcolbert@mvat.org
