The Global Acupuncture Project

  • About Us

The Global Acupuncture Project (formerly The PanAfrican Acupuncture Project) trains local health-care providers in Mexico and Uganda in the use of simple acupuncture protocols to address the symptoms of HIV/AIDS, malaria, TB, dengue, and other conditions and the side effects of medications used to treat them. In so doing, the trainees in the host countries are able to provide acupuncture treatments to reduce suffering, improve quality of life, and instill a greater sense of hope.
