Asian American Resource Center

  • Mission

Our mission is to improve the quality of life for the Asian-American population, increase cultural awareness, and encourage communication within the diverse Atlanta community.

    About Us

What We Do: We assist individuals and families from Asian countries, including those who are elderly, jobless, poor or who have limited marketable skills, to navigate the language, cultural, and social obstacles in their new chosen country. The Center seeks to meet the heightened demand for human support services in the Asian-American community as a result of the Welfare Reform Act of 1996, which limits support services to immigrants. The Center's staff and Board of Directors have worked many years in Atlanta to contribute to the growth and development of our diverse community, and continues to provide human support services that improve the quality of life for Asian-Americans in the greater Atlanta area.
