EAC Network - Suffolk County Children's Center

  • Mission

EAC's Suffolk County Children's Center offers a free alternative to crowded courtrooms and waiting areas, and enables parents with young children to attend to their court business while being assured that their children are receiving great care. The children's center is a safe and nurturing environment for children as young as 6 weeks to 12 years of age. While at the center, children are engaged in supervised free-play, arts and crafts, age-level socialization, and receive healthy snacks. Our main value is based around literacy. While at the center, children have access to an extensive library. To promote literacy at home, each child who enters the center is given an age-appropriate book to take with them. For parents, we provide an array of community referrals as well as assistance in getting services they may need.
