SparkYouth NYC

SparkYouth NYC (formerly The Catalog for Giving) was founded in 1994, inspired by the idea that donors would like to support the best emerging youth-development programs in NYC—local organizations that are transforming young lives. Over the years SparkYouth has funded and provided technical assistance to more than 70 emerging programs, which in turn have served thousands of young people with programming in arts, sports, academics, mentoring, technology and more.

We ignite growth in community-based programs to expand opportunities for the young people of New York City. We’re striving for a more equitable future where every child has the opportunity to explore, dream, and thrive.

We work with emerging youth organizations at a critical stage of their development. Long term financial and organizational support for programs of this size helps ensure their exponential growth. These organizations provide crucial opportunities to young people and help transform lives. Together we can create more expansive and fulfilling futures for the youth of New York City.
