Inter-Cultural Youth Exchange UK (ICYE UK) believes in a world where the sharing of cultures and ideas is embraced, celebrated and lived. We provide supported international volunteer placements which benefit both the local community and volunteer.
Working in the field of inter-cultural awareness and personal development, ICYE-UK sends individuals who want to broaden their horizons, develop personally and make a difference to lives and work with communities throughout Latin America, Africa, Asia & Europe from 3 weeks to 12 months.
Participants gain valuable work experience, learn a new language and develop important vocational, interpersonal and cultural skills through their experience abroad.
ICYE-UK is part of a worldwide federation of independent youth organisations established in 1949 with a head office in Berlin and national offices in over 30 different countries. ICYE has been recognised as an 'International Peace Messenger' by the United Nations General Assembly due to our unique approach to International volunteering..
