  • About Us

ReadAbility Foundation is a nonprofit organization that provides textbooks and other books in electronic formats for use by blind people. To accomplish this, we scan print books into computers which convert the scanned images into electronic text, which can then be read aloud by talking computers. In addition, we supplement the electronic books with written descriptions of pictures, diagrams and tables which appear in the printed books.
